CP: Repro Men

The current issue of the City Paper has a story on the guys who used to sell bootleg cds over at Hechinger Mall.

When I read that story, I wondered if they would continue doing business at Hechinger mall.

There is a police substation in the mall, the 5th District station is what 4 or 5 blocks a way, and I'll bet that these guys never were checked for a vendors license.

I have to say that it has been a while, since I've been approaced to buy an car tag sticker. It used to be easy to buy car tag stickers there on the parking lot.Better policing or better DMV controls?

They said they did have a license: "Ahsahnte says he even acquired a vendor’s business license to sell MFL albums, to make sure everything about the group’s official business was legit."
